Robert H. Tobin, Sr., 94, of Marshfield, formerly of Roslindale, died October 25, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Norma P. (Juliano) Tobin; dear father of Robert H. Tobin, Jr. and his wife Winifred of Walpole, Patrice Sneyd and her husband Paul of S. Weymouth, the late Heather Tobin, Elizabeth Tobin and her husband James Dempsey of Marshfield and Michael Tobin and his wife Cheryl of Norwell.  Loving grandfather to Robert and Connor Tobin, Danielle and Shannon Sneyd, and Michaela, Luke, and Ben Tobin. Uncle & granduncle to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Predeceased by a sister Louise Lynch, and brothers Albert, and infant William Tobin.

Robert was born in Boston to the late Harry and Elizabeth (Zottoli) Tobin and was a proud WWII Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a graduate of Suffolk Law School, he was a fixture in the Roslindale community, and practiced with his brother Albert in their law firm, Tobin and Tobin, for more than 40 years.

Robert served as Former Massachusetts Assistant Attorney General to Edw. J. McCormack, Jr., and Assistant Corporation Council for the City of Boston. He was a Life member and served on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Lobstermen's Association, a Life member of the Marshfield Elks Lodge #2494, a Member of Tin Can Sailors, The National Assoc. of Destroyer Veterans.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Marshfield, MA.  A Funeral Service will take place on Monday October 30, 2017 at 10:00 AM at MacDonald Funeral Home. Burial immediately following in the Old Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Roslindale.
