Rocco Anthony LaMattina passed away suddenly on May 11, 2024 at the age of 25. He is survived by his father, Rocco A. LaMattina and his mother, Joanne Greenwood, along with siblings Joseph, Jonathan, and Jackie Whitehead. He was grandson of the late Ralph LaMattina and Kathleen LaMattina, the late Joe Greenwood, and Barbara Greenwood.

Born in Weymouth, Rocco attended Pembroke schools where he played football, basketball and baseball. He went on to work with his father in construction and also in landscaping. He had a passion for music and freestyle rap and was really great at it even at age 14.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield, followed by a funeral procession to the Pembroke Cemetery. Family and friends will then gather for a collation at the Hilltop in Kingston.
