Rocco J. Longo, 67 of Duxbury, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester of yet undetermined cause.

Rocco was born in 1952 to Phil and Rose Longo of Bound Brook, New Jersey. He was a 1970 graduate of Bound Brook High School, a 1974 graduate of Salem University in Salem, West Virginia, and received his Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia in 1976.

Rocco met and married his wife Colleen in Pittsburgh, PA and from there he embarked on his future of City Manager and CEO of towns in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts.. His last full time position was with the Town of Marshfield. After retiring in 2019 Rocco worked as an adjunct professor for Suffolk University and as a Senior Associate with Community Paradigm Associates, LLC.

Rocco found his passion in family, work and sports. He is survived by his wife Colleen and two sons, Parker and Tyler, who were the absolute pride of his life. He is also survived by his sisters Maryanne Griguoli and Angel Longo, both of New Jersey, along with several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Rocco's life on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in the Marshfield High School Auditorium, 167 Forest Street in Marshfield.
