Dr. Roger A. Yurgelun, D.M.D.,of Marshfield, passed away November 11, 2012 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Sally (Tamulevich) Yurgelun. Dear brother of Linda Elliott of Burke, VA. Son of the late Edmund and Stephanie (Stetkis) Yurgelun. Dear brother in law of Jane Tamulevich of Brockton and Marianne Tamulevich of Washington, DC. Loving uncle of Susan Elliott, Kimberly Ayers and Corbin Ayers. Roger was born in Glen Rock, NJ. He later moved to Brockton. Roger was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1961. He was an early graduate of Boston College and went on to attend Tufts Dental School where he graduated in 1968. Roger was a dentist in Marshfield for over 40 years. He served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Rte 139, Marshfield on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a service at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Roger's memory may be made to the American Red Cross on going relief effort for Hurricane Sandy at www.redcross.org/Sandy
