At age 50, Rosalie began a career at the National Park Service, where she met her second husband, Lawerance J. With her dear friend Mary Ennis or husband Larry, Rosalie embarked on trips to France, Russia, Italy, Yugoslavia, and even an African Safari, as well as having driven across the US and into Canada many times. She never tired of learning about the world, earning her Bachelor of Arts from UMass Boston at the age of 70.
