Obituary

Rose A. (White) Baiardi of Marshfield passed away on December 12, 2023 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Robert M. Baiardi, she was the loving mother of Janet Baiardi, Richard Baiardi and his wife Robin, and the late John Baiardi. She leaves a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

To know Rose was to love her! She always greeted you with a smile and a hug. Her favorite saying, the motto she lived by, was Faith, Family, Friends. Rose always wanted to keep busy. She took up painting and created some beautiful pictures. She liked the old tradition of sending out cards and letters to her family and friends - no e-mail for her! Rose was voted 'number one' by her family for making the best whoopie pies ever!

Rose would crochet lap blankets for a rest home in Plymouth and every resident would get a blanket with a note "This is a warm hug from Rose". She also knitted blankets for new babies at a local hospital.

Rose will be dearly missed. Her faith was great, and we know that the gates of Heaven will be wide open for Rose.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Rose will be laid to rest in the Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree with a Graveside Service on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
