Hartley, Roseanne T., 68, of Marshfield, MA, formerly of Pottsville, PA, died May 17, 2016, in Boston. She was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School and of the Harrisburg (PA) Polyclinic Hospital School of Nursing.

As an RN, Roseanne spent most of her career in Boston area hospitals and medical centers, including Massachusetts General, New England Medical Center, Roslindale Medical Center and Tufts University Medical Center. She was highly regarded by fellow nurses, doctors and patients alike, having cared for thousands of men, women and children. As a respected, supervising nurse, she also helped develop and inspire countless nursing students and colleagues.

When not nursing, Roseanne had a heart for rescuing animals, particularly dogs, caring for dozens of them during her lifetime. She called them her children. She is greatly missed by all who knew her.

Roseanne is survived by her brother Joe of Long Beach, CA, and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. Services and interment at Couch Cemetery in Marshfield were private.
