Ruth Anne (Sullivan) Driscoll, 83, of Marshfield, a homemaker, died Saturday at her home.

Mrs. Driscoll moved from Dorchester to Marshfield in 1975.

Born in Boston, she attended Boston schools and graduated from South Boston High School.

Wife of the late John E. Driscoll, she is survived by seven sons, John E. Driscoll Jr. of Marshfield, Joseph Driscoll and Richard Driscoll of Pembroke, Robert Driscoll of Quincy, William Driscoll of Weymouth, James Driscoll of Marshfield, and Kevin Driscoll of Orlando, FL.; two daughters, Ruth Anne Hale of Marshfield and Linda Edmonds of Kingston: and 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal St, Green Harbor. Burial will be in Couch Cemetery, Union St, Marshfield.

Visiting hours 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St (rte 139), Marshfield.
