Ruth F. Freden, age 94, of Marshfield passed away Tuesday August 2, 2010. Born in Brockton, Ruth came to the Humarock area in the mid 20's, residing in ""Seaview"" with her loving husband Halmer ""Bill"" Freden for 72 years. Ruth was a devoted homemaker to her husband and children. She loved to play badminton, braid rugs, prepare culinary cuisine, attend the theatre and dance to the ""Big Band"" music throughout the 30's and 40's across the South Shore and Rhode Island with her husband Bill. Ruth is survived by five children, William ""Ray"" Freden of Pembroke, Me, Bruce C. (Swede) Freden of Marshfield, Wayne H. Freden of Kasilof, Alaska, Deborah R. (Freden) Crowe of Key West, Fl, and Judith A. Freden of Middleboro, four grandchildren, identical twin great grandsons, and a great granddaughter. She was the grandmother of the late Eric Freden. A private service will be held.
