Glynn, Ruth C. (Linskey), of Marshfield, March 20, 2015. Wife of late Albert M. Glynn and Daughter of late William J. and Genevieve (Kelly) Linskey.
Ruth was the youngest of 10 children, raised in Hyde Park. During World War II she performed in the USO, and later worked as an executive assistant in airplane and insurance companies. She and her husband raised their family in Westwood, summered in the Humarock area and retired there in the early 1980s. She traveled widely around the world and was known for her sense of humor. She was lovingly cared for at Cardigan Nursing Home for the last year of her life.
Survived by her children, Richard Glynn and his wife Penny of Sudbury, David Glynn and his wife Suzan of Marshfield, Suzanne Glynn of Scituate, and Diane Bronner and her husband Peter of Mohnton, PA. She is also survived by her niece, Jean Brennan, among other nieces and nephews, six grandchildren, Kristy, Jennifer, Gregory, Stephanie, Lauren, and Alexander, and one great-granddaughter.
Friends and family are invited to express their condolences at the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St, Marshfield, on Tuesday March 24, from 4 to 8 pm.
Funeral from the Funeral Home Wednesday at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Christine's Church 1295 Main St, Marshfield at 10:00 am. Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery Marshfield.
