Zayko, Ruth M., born January 29, 1918, passed away peacefully at Wingate Skilled Nursing Facility on May 20, 2015 at the age of 97. Longtime resident of Kingston, MA, previously of Marshfield, MA. Ruth was a US Navy Veteran, WWII and former employee of Cardinal Cushing School of Hanover. Wife of the late William Zayko, mother of the late William H. Zayko. Also the mother of Robert Zayko and his wife Martha of Marshfield and Richard Zayko and his wife Luanne of New Hampshire. Loving grandmother of Lori Donovan, Michele Krabisch, the late Brendan Zayko, Laura, Carolyn and Robin Zayko. Great grandmother to Alexandra, Julia, Tyler, Ben and Keegan. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Ruth was an avid reader, gardener and past president of Marshfield Women's Club-Evening Division. A Memorial Mass will be held in St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main St., Rte. 3A in Marshfield on Thursday, May 28 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be held in Marshfield Hills Cemetery.
