Ryan G. Bovinett, of Marshfield, suddenly on April 4, 2018, at the age of 35. Beloved son of Patrick and Jeanne (Oteri) Bovinett; dear brother and best friend of Christopher Bovinett; Grandson of Louise and the late Anthony Oteri and Gwendoline Bovinett. Ryan leaves his fiance, Caitlin McLaughlin, many aunts, uncles, cousins, countless friends and coworkers devastated by the sudden loss of a truly wonderful soul.

Ryan grew up in Marshfield and was a graduate of Marshfield High School where he tutored disabled students, and Westfield University where he majored in Education, Psychology and Communications. Ryan's career after college was diverse and he held certifications in Education, Real Estate, Media Production and Restaurant Management. He worked early on as an Educator/School Teacher and together with his longtime friend and business partner Monty Geer created a children's educational program called "The Shmonster Project", which used puppetry to educate children about bullying behavior. More recently Ryan worked as a Realtor with Elite Realty Advisors, was Assistant Manager of the Oysterman Raw Bar and Tavern in Duxbury and was soon to be the General Manager of their new restaurant The Anchor in Duxbury. He also enjoyed a variety of activities – gymnastics, soccer, rugby, snowboarding, travelling with Caitlin, and special times listening to music with Christopher.

Ryan's story isn't complete without Caitlin. They attended high school together and although Ryan accompanied Caitlin to her Prom, it wasn't until 15 years later that they met again and realized they were soul mates. Caitlin was the love of his life, and they were to be married in September.

The sky was the limit for Ryan, and he has left us far too soon. He will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved him.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main Street (Rte. 3A) Marshfield.  Burial will be in the Couch Cemetery.
