Tierney, Ryan J. of Marshfield, passed away on September 24, 2013 at the age of 36, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Kara (Pescatore)Tierney. Loving father of Brendan and Colin Tierney. Dear son of Gail Mariano and her husband Ed of Scituate and the late Mike Tierney. Dear brother of Erin Mood of Quincy, Michael Tierney of Bourne, Scott Tierney of FL and the late Christopher Tierney. Dear son in law of Philip and Jacqueline Pescatore of Marshfield. Brother in law of Philip and Carolyn Pescatore, Michael and Lori Pescatore and Kate Pescatore. Also survived by a niece, many nephews, aunts and uncles as well as his beloved bulldog Murphy. Ryan was born and raised in Marshfield and a graduate of Marshfield High School, Class of 1995. He attended Bridgewater State College. Ryan worked for State Street in Boston for 12 years. Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Saturday, September 28 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main St. in Marshfield at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Couch Cemetery.
