Sandra L.  Rushton, of Marshfield, MA, formerly of Dedham, MA, peacefully passed away on April 17, 2024, after a long battle with several illnesses. She's predeceased by her daughter, Tracy Puopolo, and her son, Richard Boardman, III, and her nephew, Richard Sanford, Jr. She's survived by her grandchildren, John D. Puopolo Jr and Katherine E. Puopolo, both of Marshfield, Samantha B. Knight of Falmouth, and surrogate grandson, Adam Puopolo, of Dedham, her great-grandchildren: Penelope Puopolo, August B Epstein, and Oakleigh Puopolo. She is also survived by her niece, Shauna McCarty, close family friend Venice Mazarakis, and many more nieces and nephews. Sandra graduated from Hyde Park High School and worked in the Elder Care and Home Health industry throughout her life. Taking care of others was her calling. Sandy was known for her infectious laugh, sense of humor, fashion sense, and utter devotion to her family and friends.
