Sally (Sarah) J. Donohoe, 90, of Duxbury, formerly of Abington, passed away on April 25, 2026, at home with her family.

Born and raised in South Boston, she graduated from the Gate of Heaven High School.

Sally was the definition of warmth and love. She devoted her life to her family, especially her children and grandchildren. You could find her in the kitchen cooking up a delicious homemade meal, which many times preceded family games filled with lots of stories and laughter. Cape Cod was one of her favorite places to spend time where she would enjoy swimming, watching her grandchildren go fishing, or simply sitting around the table with anyone who visited. She also loved good food, dancing, and shopping. Sally will be remembered for her appreciative spirit and making everyone she met feel like they were family.

Sally was the cherished wife of the late Patrick F. Donohoe, beloved mother of Christine, Peter, Patrick and his wife Missy, and Russell and his wife Stacy. Loving Nana to Lily, Fletcher, Jack, Kate, Cooper, Samantha, Marlowe, Alex, and Juliet. She was also a devoted sister to Mildred and the late Doris, Agnes, and Dick, and a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home of Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Church of Duxbury, followed by burial in the Blue Hill Cemetery of Braintree.
