Gorman, Sarah L. (Mehigan), of Hanover, passed away on February 26, 2018 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Peter P. Gorman; dear mother of Paul W. Gorman of Brockton, Mary Butler and her husband David of No. Reading, Peter Gorman, Jr. and his wife Edith of Friendswood, TX, Patrick Gorman and Linda Carbone of Plympton, Sandra Parsons of Marshfield, Maura Collins and her husband John of Spring, TX, and Sheila Gorman of Brookline; sister of Noreen Langone, Bridget McLaughlin, Catherine McIntyre, Shirley Mehigan, Eileen Snow, and the late James, Edward, Eugene, and David Mehigan; grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Sally was born and raised in Somerville, MA and moved to Marshfield in 1953, where she lived until 2002, when she relocated to Hanover.  She was a long time employee of Sears and Boston Financial.

She always had a kind word and a warm smile for everyone. She lived a long and fruitful life and left her mark in the hearts of those she met and enjoyed time with.  She will be dearly missed.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield.  At the close of visitation, the funeral procession will depart the funeral home for a Funeral Mass to be held at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield. Burial will be in the Winslow Cemetery.
