Scott W. Doble passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family following a courageous four-year battle with cancer. He was 56 years old.
Scott was a lifelong resident of Marshfield, graduating from Marshfield High School in 1985. Shortly thereafter, he became a licensed electrician and formed his own company, Scott Doble Electric. Scott took immense pride in his trade and built a successful career based on the traditional values of hard work, dependability, and integrity, earning him widespread respect. To say that he never met a stranger was an understatement. He effortlessly connected with people, and his easy-going nature and love of a good joke endeared him to many. If you were a friend of Scott's, you were a friend for life! More than anything, family always came first to Scott. He was devoted to his parents, a loving brother and a doting uncle who cherished his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children, relishing every milestone and achievement. Scott embraced life with enthusiasm, relishing ski trips to Colorado and Wyoming, exploring destinations like London and the Grand Canyon, and embarking on adventurous road trips on his cherished Harley. His life was happy and fulfilling, marked by memorable experiences and deep personal connections.
Scott is survived by his parents, Charles and Mary Lou (Barry) Doble of Marshfield; sisters Kelliann Haggerty and her husband Bob of Halifax, Maryann Bell and her husband Jeff of Marshfield, Nicole Burt and her husband Randy, also of Marshfield, brothers Charles Doble of Marlboro and Chris Doble and his wife Nikki of Santa Rosa, CA. He was also the proud uncle to several nieces and nephews; Danielle Brady, Andrew Haggerty, Ian Doble, Patrick Doble, Meghan Idels, James Bell, Brian Bell, Siobhan Keane, Aidan Keane, Moss Doble and Tommy Doble and his great-niece and nephews Connor, Jackson and Emery Brady and Lucas Doble.
Scott's family wishes to express deep gratitude to his wonderful friends whose unwavering love and encouragement fueled his determination to fight this awful disease. His body may have been tired, but his spirit never gave up.
