Seán M. Nicotera of Pembroke passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the age of 38. Seán was the beloved husband of Marsie (Whitehouse) Nicotera and father of Brian Nicotera; cherished son of Stephen and Deborah (Buckley) Nicotera of Florida; grandson of Phyllis and the late Seán Buckley of Weymouth and Joan McCarthy of Canton; brother of Corey Nicotera and his companion Holly and Stephen Nicotera; and uncle of Olivia, Ava, Sophia, Bradee, and Easton.

Seán was raised in Whitman and graduated from Whitman-Hanson High School, where he was a proud member of the wrestling team. Sports played a central role in his life, from his love of the LA Rams to coaching and umpiring local youth and adult sports teams.

Seán married and settled down in Pembroke with his wife Marsie to raise their son Brian. In Pembroke, Seán became an active member of the community. The sports fanatic that he was, he helped to resurrect the Pembroke Over 30 Softball League, which brought many together and created new friendships.

Seán will be remembered most for his big heart, quick wit, the love he had for his family and friends and his unwavering loyalty to the Rams.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at The Pilgrim Church, 404 Washington Street in Duxbury.
