Sharon Lucille Kent passed quietly on April 7, 2023 after a short illness. Sharon was born on New Years Eve in 1947 in Belleville, Illinois.

After attending high school, she worked as a secretary for the United States Air Force at Scott Air Force Base where she met the love of her life, her husband of 53 years, Stephen Paul Kent.

After Sharon and Steve were married, they moved to Marshfield, where they put down roots and started a family. Sharon and Steve had three children and Sharon became very involved in her children's activities and passions, working with the Marshfield Gridiron Club for many years.

She started her own business, Me and My Ideas, attending craft fairs throughout New England, many times with her daughter Richele in tow as her helper. She loved watching her boys Ryan and Keith on the Marshfield football field.

Sharon was a very caring and loving person. Her favorite job was taking care of her family.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband Stephen son Keith, daughter Richele and her husband Chip Manozzi and her sister Lolly Steward, her husband Mark and brothers Kevin and Gary Kombrink. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews and her little buddy "Teekee". She follows her son Ryan to heaven, who passed last year.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Church, 40 Canal Street in Marshfield.
