Shawn Patrick Griffin of Brockton, formerly of Marshfield, passed away at home on June 9, 2020 at the age of 51. Born and raised in Marshfield, Shawn was a friend to anyone he met. Shawn had an infectious laugh and personality that brought a smile to anyone's face and he was sure to have you laughing and smiling. Shawn was an avid fan of every sports team in Boston and played sports growing up. Shawn enjoyed many years of softball playing alongside his beloved father Robert Griffin.

Shawn was hardworking man of great integrity who formed many strong business and personal relationships, all whom will miss him greatly. Shawn's love for his family and friends knew no bounds. Shawn had a tight group of friends he considered his brothers. He loved animals in particular his cats Brady, Bean, Finley and Mamakitty. He enjoyed traveling to Stowe, Vermont with his love, Carol Lee. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Shawn leaves behind the love of his life, Carol Lee, his parents Robert F. Griffin Sr., and Charlotte (Nowell) Griffin of Marshfield, sisters Cheryl and her husband Edmund Bouchard of Haverhill and Donna-Lee and her husband Bernard Lyndsay of Weymouth, brother Robert F. Griffin, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Pembroke, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A service to celebrate Shawn's life will be held at a later date.
