Sheila Ann Dion, of Marshfield Massachusetts passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026. She was born on 9/11/1941 in Boston Massachusetts and called Marshfield home for the past 58 years. Sheila was the beloved wife of Richard Dion, her husband of 59 years. She is survived by her three children Raymond Hanscombe, Leslie King, and Richard Dion; her three grandchildren Matthew Simons, Noelle Simons, and Kelsey McCaffrey; and her cherished great-grandchildren.

Family was the heart of Sheila's life. She especially treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she took great joy in celebrating their birthdays, holidays, and milestones and all of life's special moments. She was happiest surrounded by the people she loved. One thing her family could always count on was that no one ever left Sheila's home hungry and, of course, was always the promise of her famous fudge brownies.

Christmas Eve held a particularly special place in Sheila's heart. One of her favorite traditions was attending church with her husband, daughter and grandchildren, then returning home to share a special dinner, exchange gifts, and place Baby Jesus in the manger. These traditions created memories that her family will carry with them for generations to come.

Sheila was a devoted Christian who dedicated her life to the Lord and serving others. She had a compassionate heart and was always willing to give back and help those less fortunate. She was strong, passionate, generous and deeply committed to sharing her faith with others. For many years, Sheila volunteered in prison ministry offering hope, encouragement and faith to those who needed it most. She also hosted her own tv show, Jesus and Us, where her passion for spreading the Word of the Lord came alive through scripture, personal experiences, and life lessons. Through her ministry and the way she lived her own life, Sheila encouraged others to be honest, loving, compassionate and faithful. Her greatest legacy will be the faith she shared with others, and the countless lives she touched through her kindness and service.

A verse that reflected Sheila's faith and the love she carried throughout her life was John 3:16:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, the whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Sheila is deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren, extended family, friends and all those whose lives she touched. While her family mourns her passing, they can find comfort in knowing that her love, her faith, and the lessons she taught will continue to live on in them.
