Stephen J. Ettridge of Marshfield passed away September 14, 2021 at the age of 56. He was the beloved husband of Christine M. (Clifford) Ettridge and loving father of Brendan Ettridge and his husband Mike of Amesbury and Elizabeth M. Ettridge of Marshfield. Son of the late Charles W. and Lora A. (Roberts) Ettridge, he was dear brother of Charlie Ettridge of Lawrence, Greg Ettridge and his wife Loren of Marshfield, Jennifer Ettridge of Peru, NY, son in-law of Michael and Marie Clifford of Hanson, and brother in-law of Sean and Jen Clifford of Hanson, Michael and Angelina Clifford of Walpole, Mark Clifford of Hanson, Robert Clifford of Franklin, and Meghan and Steve Moore of Hanson. Steve also leaves many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Steve was a 1983 graduate of Marshfield High School. He went on to earn a Bachelors of Business Administration from UMass Amherst and dedicated the last 27 years of his career to New Balance, working primarily in marketing and merchandising. Steve spent every moment he could on his boat and also enjoyed golf, travel, food, and spending quality time with his loved ones. Steve's infectious laugh and smile will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he spent time with.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann by the Sea Parish Church, 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
