Stephen Lawrence Sinnott, 74, of Plymouth, formerly of New Smyrna Beach, Florida passed away on September 16, 2018 after a long illness.

He was raised in Marshfield. After attending Marshfield Public Schools, he graduated from the Harry Lindberg School of Seamanship in 1966 and entered the Merchant Marines. Steve went on to work for the Marshfield Fire Department until his retirement in 1995.

Steve was predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Erma (Kessler) Sinnott, his sister Arlene (Sinnott) Garside and his wife Linda (Ducharme) Sinnott. He leaves his children Susan (Sinnott) Meyer and her husband Michael Meyer and Stephen L Sinnott, Jr, both of Plymouth; and his step-children Leo and Linette Ducharme of Florida. Steve was the loving grandfather of Andrew, David and Molly Meyer of Plymouth, and Maggie and Katie Sinnott of Marshfield and Hailey Kuruc of Florida. He also leaves his sister Jacqueline (Sinnott) Powell of Marshfield.

The family is planning a private service.
