Bell, Stephen E., Sr. of Brownfield, Maine, passed away on June 15, 2015. Stephen is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Frances A. (Picariello), devoted father to Michelle A. Kressler (Wayne Horton) of Brockton, Stephen E. Bell Jr. (Amanda) of Rhode Island, Mark E. Bell (Sheila) of Abington, Christine A. Smith (Kevin) of Marshfield, Scott A. Kressler of Raynham. Loving Papa to Stephen, Brittany, Katelyn, Ryan, Nolan, Hillary, Stephan, Francis, Abby, Jillian, Dominic, Haley, Brenden and Margaret. Predeceased by siblings William ("Buddy"). George, Mary Ann, and Donna, Stephen is survived by his brothers Frank, Bob, and Vincent and his sister Barbara Bernier, and many nieces and nephews.
Stephen was born on June 16, 1940 in South Boston, MA and served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1966, as well as in the reserves while employed by Marr Scaffolding for 31 years from 1967 to 1998. He raised his family in Brockton and Quincy, MA. In 1998, Stephen retired from Teamsters Local 25 and moved to Brownfield, Maine to enjoy his well deserved retirement.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2015 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Rte 139, Marshfield, with a funeral mass at St. Ann by the Sea, 591 Ocean Street, Marshfield on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Massachusetts National Cemetery at Bourne.
