Obituary
Susan Brett Goodwin, 76 of Marshfield, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Susan is survived by, her husband of 41 years Daniel K. Goodwin of Marshfield, her children Andrew Goodwin (Kristin Soul) of Marshfield, MA, Sara Hart (James Trotter) of Biloxi, MS, Katharine Goodwin of Newport, RI, Lindsay Spurrier of Marshfield and Tyler Goodwin of Marshfield, stepchildren Jo-Ann Tomblin and Greta and Greg Stone. She is also survived by her grandchildren Andrew Jr., Daniel, Owen, Elizabeth, Layla, Shelby, Asher, Melody, Kayden, Willow, Emma and Douglas, Marc, Alexis, Nathaniel, Zoey and many great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Dr. Afley Leonel Brett and Sara Robbins Brett, brother Gordon Brett and grandson Sidney Hart and step-son Daniel (Joey) Goodwin.
Susan grew up in Auburndale, MA, graduated from Stoneleigh-Burnham School in Deerfield, MA in 1962 and studied Voice at Berklee College of Music and Theater Arts at Emerson College.
Susan was active in her community serving on the board for Habitat for Humanity, as well as being a parent support aide to woman in need with the Department of Social Services.
Among her life accomplishments, her greatest was being a loving mum, grammy and friend.
