Teresa Gloria (Medeiros) Gauld of S. Yarmouth, MA passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 11, 2022. Beloved wife of Richard A. Gauld and the late Daniel J. Irvine, she was the loving mother of Catherine Marchioni and her husband Robert, Robin Irvine Marobella and her husband Lawrence, and Joyce Irvine, and was the cherished grandmother of John Fall, Caleb Fall, Daniel Irvine and wife Rhonda Irvine, Kevin Marchioni, Teresa "Tess" Marchioni, Anthony Marchioni, and great-grandchild Dutch Irvine (child of Daniel and Rhonda). Daughter of the late Manuel L. and Josephine (Sidoti) Medeiros, Terry was the dear sister of Joyce Ann DiToro and her husband Michael, brother Brian Medeiros and his wife Kim, sister in-law Carol Medeiros, and the late Manuel "Wally" Medeiros.

Terry was born in Arlington, graduated from Weymouth High School in 1953 and attended Northeastern University. She was an accomplished executive secretary and office manager. She often said that her favorite job was with her family-owned dance studio, where she was not only the office manager but taught dance to the young dancers ("the baby classes"). She loved and was loved by the students and families over her many years at the dance studio. Terry had a creative and entrepreneurial bent as well, where she designed, produced and sold a line of elegant casual wear under her company name, "From the Heart of Terry".

Terry was a truly remarkable and beautiful lady who had a unique and contagious zest for life. Her nickname was "Party Terry" and her credo was "The more, the merrier!". She loved to entertain and cook "Mangia" for her family and friends . She enjoyed travel, camping, skiing, watching football and spending time with family. Another passion of hers was her gardening. She proudly gave tours of her gardens in Texas and for the last 26 years, in S. Yarmouth (Cape Cod). Through the years, outside of Massachusetts, she lived in Texas, Oklahoma and California. No matter where she went, Terry was ageless, energetic and a fun, dependable friend to all.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Church, 40 Canal Street in Marshfield. Family and friends are then invited a reception at Haddad's Ocean Café.
