Leighton, Terrence R. of Hanson, passed away on February 7 at the age of 24. Dear son of Andrew Simmons and Wendy (Leighton) Slattery and her husband Richard of Marshfield. Dear brother of Logan Simmons, Steven Slattery, Jacob Slattery, Allison Simmons and Lindsay Slattery. Dear grandson of Marie Simmons and the late Paul Simmons and the late Jean and Edward Leighton. Also survived by several aunts and uncles. Terrence was a friend to everybody and was always making people smile. He lit up a room. Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Wednesday, February 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held in Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 19.
