Winkley

MacDonald Funeral Home
1:00 - 4:00 pm (Eastern time)
Terry (Butler) Winkley of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on October 25, 2026. She was the beloved wife of David Winkley; loving mother of Chris Phillips and his wife Renee, Scott Phillips, the late Todd Phillips his better half, Wendy Dameron and stepmother of Stacy (Murray) Anderegg and Cynthia Winkley; cherished "Mimi" of Erick, Chandler, Matthew, Melissa, Patrick, Madison, Lucy, James, Nathan and Jeremy.
Born May 17, 1944, she was a lifelong resident of Duxbury until she retired to the sun and warm weather in Florida, returning every summer to the fun and family in town.
Mimi was truly one of a kind — feisty, wonderfully sassy, and never one to hold back her opinion. You never had to wonder what she was thinking because she was more than happy to tell you! Her quick wit, sharp comebacks, and unforgettable sense of humor kept everyone laughing. And who could forget her famous Facebook and Snapchat comments, always filled with humor, love and emojis galore!
Life wasn't always easy, but Mimi faced her challenges with remarkable strength and determination. She loved the beach, where she found happiness and peace, but nothing meant more to her than her family, whom she loved fiercely. Her grandchildren held an especially precious place in her heart, and being their Mimi brought her immeasurable joy.
Mimi was loved by so many, and her larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories, laughter, and stories that will be shared for generations. The world will certainly be a little quieter without her, but oh, how lucky we were to have had her in our lives. ❤️
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Old Colony Hospice, online at https://www.oldcolonyhospice.org/Memorial-Gifts
