Thaxter H. ?Ted? Polk Jr. of Hanover, Oct 25. Age 70, at home. Beloved husband of Janice K. (Krysto) Polk. Father of David Polk and his wife Diane of Hanover and Amy Polk of Hanover and her fiancée Chris Scoppettuolo. Grandfather of Adam Polk. Step grandfather of Ryan Dern. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Ted was a resident of Hanover for the past 31 years. He retired from a Rhode Island Insurance Company as an insurance underwriter. He was also a 30 year Retired Army Master Sergeant. A graduate of Belmont High School and Boston University. He also attended Harvard University. Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St (Rte 139) Marshfield, Tuesday at 8:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St Mary Of The Sacred Heart Church 392 Hanover St (Rte 139) Hanover at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment will follow the Funeral Mass at 12:30 in the Mass National Cemetery Bourne, MA.
