Theodore Anthony Campia, Jr. of Dedham, MA passed away peacefully on February 12, 2024.

Beloved son of the late Theodore A. Campia, Sr. and the late Grace F. Campia, Theodore, known affectionately as Buddy to his family and Teddy to his friends is survived by his loving wife Kim Campia of Dedham, his brother Daniel (Susan) Campia of Florida and Griswold, CT, many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Grace M. Campia and brother, Michael A. Campia, Sr.

Teddy and Kim were long time friends but started dating and got married later in life. They have an amazing partnership and have always said "We are a team. We can face anything as long as we're together!"

Teddy was born, raised and lived most of his life in Hyde Park, MA. In his younger years he loved spending time with family at Spectacle Pond, in Wareham, MA. He was a member for a time of Knights of Columbus, also Hyde Park Fraternal Order of Eagles. Later and currently member of the East Weymouth Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Teddy held many occupations including line cook at Boston Police headquarters and at the VA Hospital in West Roxbury, MA to DJing. He volunteered with the local CYO "back in the day" as Teddy would say. Other joys for him included avid bowling and belonging to many leagues at Ron's Ice Cream and 20th Century Lanes in Hyde Park, scratch tickets, watching his favorite Westerns and anything involving his beloved Red Sox.

In recent years, Teddy's greatest joy was watching his great nieces and great nephews on social media. The photos and videos always made him smile and swell with pride as he called everyone over to watch the pictures and videos with him.

At Teddy's request, there will be no wake or funeral. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details to come.
