Theresa (Anthony) Hillner, formerly of Marshfield and Scituate, passed away on May 12, 2021 at her home in Stuart, Florida. Wife of the late David Hillner, she leaves her children, Louis J. O'Rourke of Stuart, Florida, Patricia O'Hare (husband William) of Lynnfield, Joanne Murphy (husband Brian) of Braintree, John "Jack" O'Rourke (wife Allison) of Bridgewater, Maureen Mahoney (husband Daniel) of Braintree;  20 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Veglardio) Anthony, she was the beloved sister of the late Joan Baker.

Terry graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in American Sign Language and worked as an ALS teacher at the Boston School for the Deaf as well as the Braintree and Brockton public school systems. Terry and Dave had many lifetime friends and enjoyed socializing and traveling. She was devoted to her large and loving family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Church, 40 Canal Street in Marshfield. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery in Scituate.
