Theresa V. (McGrath) Welch, of Marshfield, February 17, 2018 at the age of 85. Beloved wife and dearest friend of James 'Jim' F. Welch for 65 years. Loving mother of Michael Welch and his fiance, Sherry Daley and David Welch and his partner, Patrick Overstreet. Before Michael became widowed, he and his late wife Robin presented Theresa two grandchildren, Michael Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona and Kristin Marie of Fall River. Theresa also leaves her grandson Christopher Welch, great-grandchildren Zayden and Arianna, as well as many nieces and nephews. Theresa's parents were both elderly when she was born. Her father, Peter, was born in Ireland in 1886 and her mother, Anna, was born in Boston in 1889. Theresa is also predeceased by a brother, Peter McGrath, a sister, Anna Marie (McGrath) McCullough, and her daughter in-law Robin (McKittrick) Welch.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street Marshfield, MA. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main Street Marshfield. Burial will be in the Couch Cemetery.
