Ryan, Thomas D., 84, of Marshfield, passed away on April 7, 2014 at the South Shore Hospital with his wife and children at his bedside. Tom was raised and educated in East Boston. He retired as a Boston Police Sergeant after 30 years with the department. Tom was the loving husband of Marilyn to whom he was married for 55 years. He was also the adored father of Renee Kanash (Bob) of Whitman, Linda Starry (Jim) of Hixson, TN and Thomas S. Ryan, M.D. of Norwell, MA. Tom was the proud grandfather of Robert and Mary Kanash and Danny and Timmy Starry. He was the loving son of the late Thomas S. and Renee (LePeron) Ryan. Tom was the dear brother of Jeannette Vozzella of Woburn, James Ryan of Braintree and the late Paul and John Ryan. Tom loved working in his garden and going to Foxwoods. Services will be private.
