Gronberg, Thomas F., 52 of Duxbury on August 27, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness. Tom was raised and educated in Marshfield and has been a long-time resident of Duxbury. Survived by his loving wife Kristen (Judd) Gronberg, a son Tyler and daughter Paige Gronberg, all of Duxbury. Tom was predeceased by his mother Janice (Gottlich) Gronberg. He is also survived by his father and step mother, Walter and Gail Gronberg of Plymouth, brother Robert and wife Karen of Hampstead, NH., Michelle Longo and her fiancée Moustafa Benbaha of Marshfield., Kristen Gottlich of Southbridge and many nieces and nephews.

Tom has been a Diabetic from the age of 4 and spent many summers at Camp Joslin in Charlton, MA. and later became a Camp Counselor. Tom had interest in sports, sailing and most of all his weekends spent off-roading with family at Duxbury Beach.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 11:00 am at the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St. Marshfield. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, September 3, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 am before the Service. Burial will be in the Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury.
