McFarland, Thomas E. Jr., of Marshfield, passed away on February 25, 2019, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Linda J. (Haskell) McFarland and son of Elinor (Geany) and the late Thomas E. McFarland. Loving father of Tiffani E. McFarland, Tabatha E. McFarland, Arthur L. Celino, all of Marshfield, and Anthony L. Celino of Lakeville. Cherished brother of Jack, Timothy, Maryellen, Anne, and Elinor and grandfather of Skilah, Kaiden, Emily, Zachary, and Francesca Rose.

Tom was born in Cambridge and moved to Marshfield in 1961. After graduating Marshfield High School he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Tom was an active member of Marshfield Elks Lodge #2494 and retired as a Union Carpenter with Local 424 in 2015.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann by the Sea Parish Church, 691 Ocean Street, Marshfield. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
