Nagi, Thomas R. of Marshfield, May 19, at the age of 78.Beloved husband of 50 years of Ann M. (Dignan) Nagi. Loving father of Paul Nagi of Marshfield, Jean Nagi of Stoughton, Ellen Nagi of Plymouth and Thomas Nagi of Kingston. Grandfather of Katelyn, Lisa and Christian. Brother of Michael Nagi of N. Salem, NY. Father-in-law of Kelly Nagi and Diane Nagi. Brother-in-law of William Dignan. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Tom was signed by the Boston Braves in 1949 however gave up his professional career to raise his two younger brothers after his parents died. He was a retired supervisor for Sears Roebuck Boston for 34 years. Tom was a resident of Marshfield for 45 years. He also attended North Eastern University. Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St, Rte 139, Marshfield Monday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Careswell St Marshfield at 10:00 am. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 6 pm. Interment will be private. Contributions in Thomas' memory maybe made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
