Thomas (Tommy) L. Sullivan of Dorchester passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on December 23, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents Cornelius F. Sullivan (BPD) and Marjorie R. (Prendiville). He is survived by his sister AnneMarie Daly and her husband Stephen of Plymouth, Brother-in-Law, David McDonough of Scituate and Florida, and Brother-in-Law, Pedro Alvarado of Quincy. Thomas is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, John J. Sullivan, his sisters Marjorie A. McDonough, Maureen E. Cellucci and her husband Stephen, Patricia A. Sullivan, Rita Alvarado and brother, William Sullivan.

Tommy was born and raised in Dorchester and was a proud lifelong resident. He graduated from Boston High School and worked for many years at Filene's Basement until he suffered a brain aneurism at the young age of 28. Tommy lived at Keystone Apartments in Dorchester for the past seven years and loved the community there.

Tommy was a grateful and humble person, despite his physical challenges. Tommy loved his family and was very proud of all their accomplishments. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends including his dear friend Marsha and devoted caretaker and friend, Al Nickerson.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated by his friend, Fr. Daniel Finn on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Mark's Church, 1725 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, MA.
