Thomas F. Walsh, Jr., of Marshfield, passed away with his family by his side on February 8, 2019 at the age of 79. Beloved son of the late Thomas F. Walsh Sr and Mary Walsh of Waltham. Predeceased by his sister Mary Robinson of Medfield and Jackie Walsh of Millis. Beloved husband of Mary (Frizzell) Walsh and loving father of Marianne Simmons and her husband Bradford of Plymouth, Thomas Dodge and his wife Darlene of Boston, Lawrence Walsh and his wife Angela of Port Washington, New York, and Donald Walsh and his wife Bridie of Titusville, Florida. Dear grandfather of Ashley, Meghan, Stephanie, Liam, Sean, Kayla, and great-granddaughter, Layla.

Tom graduated from St. Sebastian's in Newton. He served in the Air Force from 1957-1961, then he went on to study at Bentley College. Tom was employed for many years at Hertz in East Boston as a manager until his retirement, then went on to manage FAE in Braintree. He will always be remembered for his optimism and his love of life and his family. Tom loved everyone around him. Tom loved to play the lottery and wear his Humarock hat, he loved to have his morning coffee at the pier every morning. Tom especially loved the precious time spent with his wife, Mary, on their weekly "fun dates". He will be sorely missed.

Services for Tom will be private. Donations in his memory can be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities for Kids with Cancer, 26345 Network Place, Chicago, IL 60673-1263.
