Thomas S. Zani of Marshfield MA and Pompano Beach FL passed peacefully on June 12th after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.

Born in Brookline in 1950 to John and Margaret Zani, he grew up in Belmont; Thom graduated with a degree in business from Bentley College. Initially, Thom worked in the family tile company before launching his own business in 1977. Over the years, Thom developed Wholesale Art and Frame into an international operation, becoming the largest producer of original art in the world at the time.

Thom met his beloved partner, then wife, Janice Donnelly in 1978 and was his at his best when she was at his side.

He is survived by Janice, his sister Simone Zani and her wife Mary Jane Ochkie, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, all who will remember him for his loyalty, diligence, clever wit and thoughtfulness.

The family would like to acknowledge the dedication of Thom's caregivers in the last stage of his life, all of whom doted on him with love and affection.

To celebrate Thom's life, a funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Marshfield, MA on Saturday, June 27th at 10:30am.
