Timothy A. Hart, age 66 of Marshfield passed away peacefully on February 14, 2024 surrounded by his loving wife and family, after a gallant battle with cancer.  He was the devoted husband of 38 years of Adele (Fagan) Hart.  Tim's greatest joy was his family and he was the proud father of Brendan Hart and his wife Ana of Stoughton, and Matthew Hart and his wife Rachel of Wollaston, Quincy.  Tim was a doting grandfather to his "princess" granddaughter Victoria Hart and took special joy in the arrival of his newborn "princess" granddaughter Madeleine Hart.  Tim was also a loyal brother to John H. Hart III and his wife Sharon of Abington, Cynthia Herlihy and Judith Freehan of Danvers, and Kathryn Conway of Salem.  Tim was predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Rigney.  Additionally, Tim is survived by his brother in-law Karl Fagan and his wife Jean of Dedham, his sister in- law Pat Arnold of Marshfield and his brother-in law Ronald Fagan and his wife Jeri of Los Osos California. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Tim was the son of John H. Hart Jr. and Alice Hart.  Tim attended Peabody public schools before joining the Navy where he served for 4 years. Tim's career as a Systems Engineer had him travel the world, applying his skills and spreading his good cheer.  In his free time, Tim's love of sports shone through as he was a USSSA Softball Umpire for many years, officiating at the local, regional and national levels.  He also enjoyed his time with All Pro Productions, working in the hospitality area of the company.

He married the love of his life Adele and together they raised their family in Marshfield.  Tim had a passion for life and he and Adele enjoyed spending time with their family, traveling, cooking, following bands, and cheering on the New England Patriots.  His outgoing personality, easy going manner, and big heart made him a joy to be with and he will be sadly missed by all who loved him.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and will conclude with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
