It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Todd from this world. He died way too young, but he was suffering and is now at peace.

Todd was a lover and a fighter. He definitely did not light up a room, but deep down, he had a heart of gold and a sarcastic wit that could not help but make you laugh. He was prickly, but he could also be as gentle and smooth as the waves of Saquish. He was also hot headed, but he had the coolness of the fresh Vermont air, a place he treasured.

Todd loved his family fiercely. His passions were boating, fishing to try and catch that monster striper, Ford trucks, all things history, antiquing, tinkering, his coffee and cigarettes, hanging with his best friends and brother shooting the breeze, and of course, rebelling in any way possible against the norm.

He leaves behind his incredible children: Erick Phillips, Lucy Phillips, and James Phillips; his way better half, Wendy Dameron; his loving parents Terry and Dave Winkley and Neil and Diane Phillips; brothers Chris Phillips and wife, Renee, and Scott Phillips and wife, Ana; and of course, his loving step-sisters, brother/sister/mothers in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and all of his Duxbury pals.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you live your lives with gratitude and passion.  Stop and really take a look around you with awe. Make amends with family and friends because in the end, all of those burdens you have been carrying with you for so long don't really matter. Call someone and tell them you love them. Say you're sorry. Don't waste one single breath. Do this in memory of Todd.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Family and friends will share words of remembrance at 4:00 p.m.
