Obituary

Tracy (Boardman) Puopolo of Marshfield passed away suddenly on May 31 at the age of 47. Beloved mother of John Puopolo, Jr. and Katherine Puopolo, both of Marshfield, and cherished daughter of Sandra Sanford of Dedham and the late Richard Boardman of Brighton; dear sister of Richard Boardman of Brockton; son and younger brother Adam Puopolo of Dedham; niece Samantha Knight of Falmouth; and loving boyfriend David Pierce of Brockton; and cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Tracy was born and raised in Dedham and graduated from Newbury College in Brookline. She was a long-time employee of Beth Israel Deaconess OB/GYN and worked in the medical field her entire career.

Tracy's unconditional and unwavering love for her children went way beyond most. Her strength, resilience, and positivity can be seen in Johnny, Katie, and her niece Samantha. Tracy was extremely close to her mother, Sandy, spending weekly visits shopping and laughing together.  Tracy loved all types of music especially Country Music, Pink, and Ed Sheerin. She loved early mornings and would sit sipping her coffee out at the Brant Rock Seawall and taking pictures of the sun rising. Tracy was known for her great sense of humor and had a remarkable way of making everyone feel special. She had a strong sense of family, which she got from her mom, Sandy.  No matter how close or far they were away, when they got together they never missed a beat.  Her laughter was infectious and her smile contagious. Her heart was larger than life—always there for anyone in need. Tracy was a true animal lover and loved her dog Sophie and extended her love to her friends' dogs Nala and Sugar. Her kindness touched so many and her loss has been felt deeply. Tracy loved cooking and watching the Food Network, Chicago PD, This is Us and the Bachelor with her friend Deb. Her loss has been beyond comprehension and she will never be forgotten.
