V. NaThelle Cattanach 90, of Marshfield, passed away peacefully in her home on October 26, 2021. NaThelle was a strong, wonderful person: mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, secretary, loyal friend, homemaker, golf enthusiast, gardener, baker, welcome wagon host and most important to her, a person of Christian faith.

Born on a farm in Ventura, Iowa, to Verna and Lee Larick, then growing up on a farm in Brownsdale, MN., NaThelle's life spanned from farm life, one-room schoolhouse, no electricity or running water to living in Marshfield with a determination to keep current with her iPad, emails and serving a term on the board at Marshfield Country Club.

NaThelle supported her first husband, Dwayne Nelson's career relocating six times while raising three children before settling in Scituate, MA. NaThelle went on to marry Fred Leddin and then, as a widow, married Jack Cattanach and moved to Marshfield, MA. NaThelle embraced Jack and Fred's family.

She is survived by sister Lorvene Warfield of Arvada, Colorado, son Steven Nelson and his wife Vicky of Three Forks, Montana, son Jeffrey Nelson and his wife Anna of Marshfield, Massachusetts, daughter Elizabeth Haggerty and her husband Steven of Kennebunkport, ME. She has three grandsons: William, Thomas and Steven Nelson and a great-granddaughter Sophia Nelson of Massachusetts. She is survived by several much-loved nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and step grandchildren. NaThelle is predeceased by her husbands, her brothers, Frank, Donald, John, and sister Catherine Larick.

Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield.
