Vincent P. Clark of Marshfield passed away on March 12, 2022 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine (Vangeyte) Clark, he is survived by his nephew and Godson James M. Clark and wife Renee of Billerica and siblings Carol Starr of Bridgewater, Patricia Hanson of Bridgewater, Irene Kruise of Colorado, and Daniel Clark of Florida. Son of the late Joseph C. and Mary L. (Anderson) Clark, he is predeceased by siblings Marjorie, Mary, Robert, Richard, and Joseph Clark. Vin is also survived by 15 nephews, 12 nieces, 8 great-nephews and 8 great-nieces, 4 great-great nephews and 8 great-great nieces. He also sponsored 2 children through Christian Charities.
Vin was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1989. He worked at MIT for 27 years as an Architect and later as a Project Manager. Vin had a keen eye for art work paintings in particular. He enjoyed going to see the Scituate lighthouse. Watching sports was another thing he enjoyed, football especially. His favorite pastime was fishing in Vermont with his brother Bob and all his nephews. Vin served as a lecture for 12 years at St. Ann by the Sea Parish Church.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann by the Sea Parish Church, 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield, followed by interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Society for the Propogation of the Faith, c/o the Archdiocese of Boston Pastoral Center, 66 Brooks Drive, Braintree MA 02184.
