"Buzzy" Vincent K. Williams passed away unexpectedly on Sept 22, 2025 @ 3:00 am.

Buzzy Grew up, went to school and lived in Marshfield. He was a cherished individual known for his kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality. Buzzy touched the lives of many with his love of life, love of driving truck and profound sense of humor, warmth, creativity, curiosity, and gregarious, outgoing nature. Buzzy was a generous friend and possessed an uncanny ability to connect to just about anyone. He possessed a disarming wit, and an empathetic heart. He had a rare gift of building community wherever he found himself.

Buzzy Is survived by his children Jay Williams of New Bedford and David Williams, his sister Piper "Muffin" Ellis and her husband Robert Ellis of North Carolina, his numerous nieces and nephews, Matthew Williams, his wife Marianne and son Dillion of Mashpee, Michael Williams and his wife Stephanie of Cape Cod, Winona Ellis of Albany NY and Tia Johnson of Greenville NC, Sheena Gomes and Nikkisha Goames of Buzzards Bay, Cory Knight of Texas; and his grandchildren Faith Williams and Paige Williams of Middleboro, Destiny Weeks and Jayson Cabral of New Bedford.

Buzzy Is predeceased by his parents Richard V. Williams and Myrtle Jacqueline Anderson-Williams of Marshfield, his brother Wilbert "Butch" Knight of New Hampshire (2007), his sister Jacqueline "Bunny" Gomes of Marshfield (2009) (Survived by her husband Joseph Gomes Sr. of Wareham) Edward "Bootsie" Williams (2018) (Survived by his wife Shawna Williams)

Buzzy drove for Cobra Trucking and was a Member of the Marshfield Elks Lodge #2494. Buzzy made it a point to make an impact with his suave smile and infectious laugh touching the hearts and souls of so many people and will truly be missed by all.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the Marshfield Elks Lodge #2494, 1321 Ocean Street in Marshfield, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

As Buzzy prioritized finding joy in life and sharing it with others, the family asks that you do the same - go out and do something that brings you real joy and share it with those around you.
