Virginia (Ginny) Aucoin, born in Leominster in 1935, passed peacefully away at her Marshfield home surrounded by her loved ones on December 6th 2023 at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her husband John Aucoin, her brother William Camley, her daughters Stacy Naab and Sue Allen-Rice, and granddaughter Crystal Guiol. She is survived by her sister Lillian Whitmore, her children Deborah Curtis and Deano McCarthy, her grandchildren Macilla Szabo, Wil Curtis, Renee Montillano, Ty McCarthy, Matthew, Kelsi and Briley Naab, as well as multiple great grandchildren.
Ginny was a favorite to all who knew her and was a beloved waitress at Tasty Doughnuts later known as J&M Dinner. She loved spending time at the beach with family and friends and could always be found cheering on her Red Sox during baseball season. She looked forward every year to the return of the humming birds and enjoyed the wildlife found at her home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, with a wake from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield followed by a funeral procession to St. Christine Parish Church, 1295 Main Street in Marshfield, where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
