Burgoyne, Virginia R. of Duxbury passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 21, 2012. Dear wife of the late William E. Burgoyne. Loving mother of Dr. Donald A. Burgoyne and his wife Eileen of Duxbury and the late William E. Burgoyne III. Loving grandmother of Christopher A. Burgoyne and his wife Laura Ann of Baltimore, MD and Meghan Burgoyne of Duxbury. Dear sister of Robert F. Bergeron of N.H., Raymond W. Bergeron of Duxbury and the late Rita L. Bergeron, Richard C. Bergeron and Donald L. Bergeron. Daughter of the late Simeon J. and Mary Z. (Eschembach) Bergeron. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Virginia was born and raised in Brockton. She graduated from Brockton High School. Virginia worked as a Purchasing Contract Officer at the V.A. Hospital in Brockton. She summered in Duxbury for many years before moving there permanently in 1945. Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Rte 139 Marshfield on Monday, November 26, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St., Duxbury on Tuesday, November 27 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Mayflower Cemetery.
