Virginia Coletti of Duxbury passed away on October 31, 2025.
Daughter of the late John and Agnes (Larkin) Ryan, "Ginny", to all who knew her, was very much loved by her children and all who knew her. She grew up in Braintree and later moved to Duxbury where she spent most of her life. Ginny never met a stranger. She had Sunday dinners for years and anyone who wanted to come could come, not just family. That included holidays too. If you had nowhere to go you were always welcome and there was always plenty of food and love to go around.
Ginny worked in Boston as a bridal consultant for Priscilla's of Boston for many years. After leaving there she worked as an interior decorator at creative concepts in Duxbury. These types of jobs were right up her alley. She always kept a beautifully decorated home and was always dressed in style for any occasion. "She Loved Her Talbots!"
She will be greatly missed by her children Amy Thevenin, Matthew Thevenin, and Chad Thevenin, all of Duxbury. Preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Barry Coletti, she also leaved a very good friend, Joe Tomasello, of Duxbury.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Friends and family will be contacted with that information.
