Ginny was born in 1931 in Quincy to Norman and Gertrude Hatch. She graduated from Quincy North High School, then attended Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School. Upon graduating from Katie Gibbs, she worked for Royal Globe Insurance, where she met her future husband, Vincent. Together they had four children.
Ginny was a great mom and a wonderful grandmother as well. She was very attentive to her grandson Anthony. They spent many hours playing Uno, working on puzzles, and attending Anthony's sports practices and events together.
