Mayhew, Virginia M. of Quincy, passed away on May 3, 2014 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Charles E. Mayhew. Loving father of Charles ?Chuck? Mayhew Jr. of Quincy, Cynthia ?Cindy? Mayhew of Marshfield, John Mayhew of Centerville and the late Robert Mayhew. Loving grandmother of Nicole Halpin and Paul Halpin III. Dear sister of the late Lucy Emerald and John Cieri Jr. Dear sister in law of Pauline Scoledge. Daughter of the late John and Nicolina (DiNardo) Cieri. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Virginia was an avid Boston sports fan. She enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and traveling. Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Thursday, May 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held in Pembroke Center Cemetery on Friday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m.
